Hellsing, a top-secret Protestant organization based in Britain, has been fighting vampires for the past several centuries. They employ the all-powerful vampire hunter Alucard, who recruits a young police officer, Seras Victoria, into his vampiric fold. Just as Seras is beginning to come to grips with her new un-life, she and Alucard are pitted against the armies of the night, sadistic Catholic priests, Nazis and ancient gods.
