Awards on this site are given to members to recognize a significant effort or contribution that that user had made. All awards are given by users who feel that another editor has done an exemplary job. The list below are official site awards which can be given out.
Do not give an award unless you feel it is truly deserved. This is done so that the value of earning an award does not become diluted. Following this idea, do not give an individual an award simply because they gave one to you.

Restricted Awards
These may only be given out to users by groups and by the staff. The reasons by they are restricted are listed with each award

This may only be awarded if someone has actually won a contest, hence it is restricted to the contest group
