Did you know? You can add information to the website? Just go to a series
where you see information that can be added and click on the "Contribute Info"
link. Fill out the form and within 5 days or so it will be added to the site!
Plus, when you contribute info, your name is added to the contributor listing
for that section. Preserving your name and contribution for the remainder of
the sites existence!
As some of you may know, the software for the new site has been switched from what I was building to wiki software, meaning that the new site's going to launch sometime this month. Hence, over this next month as several of the features are finalized, the site will be going temporarily off line, at most 1 week, it will be announced beforehand and an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail account under your profile name.
That doesn't mean that the community's going to stop though. Temporary forums have been set up at http://animeindepth.freeforums.org/, and a new IRC channel will be launching (with a newer and hopefully easier to use "chatbox") along with the temp forums, so you can keep posting and chatting while the site gets updated. Because of this, I highly recommend registering a new account on the temp forums as soon as possible (I would also recommend learning how to edit a wiki. If you want to make the site better, knowing how to use a wiki, you will have the power to do so).
On a final note, I would like to thank everyone who's still around for keeping Anime Indepth alive during this stagnation and for waiting it all out. The end's in sight and good things will follow :)
I have called you all here to announce the launch of the site wiki. The wiki will serve as a place to archive information of the site milestones and user information, as well as many other things regarding the Anime Indepth folklore.
I'll be directly in charge of the wiki, you can start posting things regarding AI after you create an account, please be sure to read the posting rules at the link in the main page.
Recently the site experienced a slight dilemna due to hosting and domain renewals not going through correctly. This problem has been fixed (and on a side note, dev of the new site is still going on), so the site's still here and "not quite dead" :)
